High quality Iranian sesame

Sesame is a flowering plant and belongs to the class of dicotyledonous plants. Sesame seeds contain very valuable oils. These grains contain 55% fat and 20% protein, making them a rich source of essential fatty acids and some amino acids. Sesame seeds contain 50 to 60% oil and two very useful antioxidants from the lignan family called sesamine and sesamulin. Sesame oil contains two other phenolic compounds called sesamol and sesaminol, which are formed during the refining process. Sesame oil contains linoleic and oleic acids, most of which are gamma tocopherols and other isomers of vitamins. The amino acids found in sesame seeds are lysine, tryptophan and methionine.
