Mississauga Harley-Davidson is seeking an experienced and highly motivated professional to continue the growth and potential of our service and parts department in the role of Parts Manager.

In this fixed operations management role, the individual must demonstrate strong leadership skills with a strong desire to satisfy customers and employees. Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining and growing profitability, implementing and adhering to all processes and procedures, and tracking the performance of departments and employees.

Working days and hours:

Mon-Fri 9:30am-5:30pm, Sat 9am-4pm seasonally.

Strong leadership and management skills;
Harley-Davidson’s extensive technical knowledge;
Extensive Harley-Davidson warranty management experience;
Harley-Davidson inventory control experience;
exceptional customer service skills;
Agent software experience
Responsibilities/Duties:

Supervise, direct and lead all aspects of service, parts departments and operations departments.
Implementation of all systems, schedules and procedures in the service and parts department
Always maintain a high customer satisfaction percentage
Oversee and maintain all A/P and A/R related to service and parts department
Oversee and maintain all manufacturer warranty programs for high profit and claim accuracy
Plan and achieve departmental goals in collaboration with the General Manager
Prepare and manage annual operating budgets for service and parts departments
Create and implement a marketing plan to attract new customers and maximize retention of existing customers
Be aware of federal and provincial regulations and city ordinances governing maintenance work, such as hazardous waste disposal, etc. He understands and observes them
Check warranty policy rules, understand and implement warranty guidelines, see that claims are processed correctly, and send warranty details and explanations to customers.
Advise repair technicians of the time allotted for each work order
Maintain high quality repair service and reduce returns to the shop. Periodically review work performed to ensure that strict quality standards are met
Stay up-to-date on new equipment and tools and provide purchase recommendations
Make a list of labor costs for routine maintenance work
Maintain inventory control including purchasing, selling and stocking, pricing and parts counting
Manage the purchase of parts from sources other than the manufacturer
Establish parameters for determining prices that generate sufficient gross profit to generate satisfactory profits for each category of customers.
reconciles the balance and sends a copy to accounting at the end of the month
Recruitment, training and discipline of service and parts department employees
Reviewing and evaluating the performance of all service and parts department employees
Maintain current training schedule for technicians, apprentice technicians and service advisors
Track and submit daily service advisor performance as needed
Track and submit daily technician performance as needed
Ensure that all required licensing and regulatory requirements are met
Qualifications/Educations:

3 to 5 years of Harley Davidson management (required)
H-D expert certificate – technical (preferred)
H-D Master Certificate – Service Sales (preferred) H-D Master Certificate – Parts and Accessories Sales (preferred)
H-D Master Certificate – Motorcycle Sales (Preferred)
Valid M driver’s license
Valid G driver’s license, clean driving record
Compensation:

$50,000 base salary + bonus linked to profit criteria.
